Image analysis and interaction

Overview

In this workshop, using cv.jit external, we will analyze the images taken from the camera in real time and learn the techniques necessary to create interactive works. Media art using image analysis appeared in the 60’s. While introducing reference works, will form a patch that uses “computer vision” in Max.

Practical Sonification

Overview

The word “visualization” is often heard. In addition to the method of visualizing something, there is also “Sonification.” By expressing abstract information and phenomena that do not emit sound as sounds, the possibilities of artistic expression are expanded, leading to a design that transmits information efficiently and easily. In this workshop, we will use Max to learn useful techniques while introducing examples of making sound in art and design.
